「ニューバランス（New Balance）」が、シカゴ出身のデザイナー兼クリエイティブディレクターのジョー・フレッシュグッズ（Joe Freshgoods）とのコラボレーションシューズ「Joe Freshgoods×New Balance 1000 “When things were pure”」を4月19日に発売する。T-HOUSE New Balanceと一部のニューバランス取り扱い店舗および公式オンラインストアで取り扱う。

コラボは、2023年12月に発売した「990v4」に続く新作で、1999年発売のアーカイヴモデル「ワン・サウザンド（1000）」を初めて復刻。「When things were pure」をコンセプトに、1990年代後半の職人技とストリートスタイルを融合したY2Kなデザインに仕上げた。アッパーにはブラックのエアーメッシュとシンセティックレザーのオーバーレイを使用し、ソールには衝撃吸収性と反発弾性が高いオリジナル構造「ABZORB」を採用。ヒール部分には「jfg」のバッジと「1000」のロゴを刺繍であしらい、シュータンには炎のグラフィックを施した。カラーはブラックアイスの1色で、価格は2万6400。
