Synopsis
This policy would permit the transfer of Autonomous System Numbers (ASNs) within the APNIC region and between regions with compatible inter-regional ASN transfer policies.

Status at other RIRs
There is a AS number transfer policy in the ARIN region. The ARIN Advisory Council recently declined to recommend an inter-regional ASN transfer policy on the basis that no other region is currently discussing similar proposals.
