Next time you hail an Uber, you might find video reviews of a buzzy new car, local restaurant, or an update on the weather.
The move is part of Uber Advertising‘s new editorial partnerships, which bring a new slate of content to JourneyTV, Uber’s in-car ad network.
Cars.com, Time Out, Minute Media, Matador Network, Gallery Media Group, and The Weather Channel’s digital content have already lined up content for JourneyTV, which is now live in the roughly 75,000 Ubers that are equipped with in-car screens, typically tablets mounted behind headrests.
The launch publishers reflect the interests of Uber’s consumer base, said Kristi Argyilan, global head of advertising for Uber.
