Hi there,
Thank you so much for reaching out and for your sharp eye! You’ve pointed out something very important.
I genuinely apologize for the confusion this has caused. You are correct; the “Custom CSS” feature was indeed part of the plugin initially.
However, during the official review process with the WordPress.org team, they recommended removing it. Their reasoning, which is a standard guideline for quality plugins, is that custom styling is best handled by the theme’s built-in “Additional CSS” feature. This approach prevents conflicts and ensures plugins remain lightweight and secure.
Following their expert advice, I removed the feature to align with best practices. The mistake was entirely on my part for not updating the public description afterward, and I am truly sorry for that oversight.
The good news is, you can still add your custom styles very easily using the standard WordPress method, which is even safer for your site:
- From your dashboard, go to Appearance -> Customize.
- Click on the Additional CSS tab.
- You can add any CSS code you need right there. Your code will be safe even when you update plugins or your theme.
I will correct the plugin description in the very next update. Thank you again for bringing this to my attention—it’s a great help in improving the plugin for everyone.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help with!
Best regards.
