Ask our AI assistantEach admin screen in your dashboard that has customizable screen options will have a hanging tab labeled “Screen Options” at the top-right of the admin page.

To customize the screen options for a specific page in your site’s dashboard, follow these steps:
- Visit your site’s dashboard.
- Navigate to Pages or Posts (or any dashboard page that has the “Screen Options” tab.)
- Click the “Screen Options” hanging tab at the top-right of your screen to open the screen options.
- Select the following options:
- Columns: Check the box next to each column you want to display on the page. Uncheck a box to hide the column from the page.
- Pagination: Choose the number of items per page. Use caution when selecting more items to load, as the dashboard will take longer to load.
- View Mode: Select between:
- Compact view: a slimmed down version of each page or post in the dashboard. In the compact view, you will hover over a page or post to see the additional edit options.
- Extended view: an expanded view, with more details displayed. The additional edit options will show by default, without the need to hover over the page or post section to see them.
- Click the “Apply” button to save your changes.
The changes you make will only apply to the specific dashboard admin page you are on. To apply similar changes to other dashboard admin pages, navigate to another admin page and locate the “Screen Options” hanging tab.
