- Start at your WordPress.com dashboard.
- Edit the page, post, or template where you added the image.
- Click on the image you want to add a link to.
- In the toolbar that appears above the image, click the “Link” icon.

- Choose from one of the following options:
- Paste a URL or type keywords to search for pages/posts on your site. Press Enter or click the “Apply” icon to save the URL.
- Link to image file: click this option to link the image to the original image file.
