Dear Dialog,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the internet connection provided by your company today. (Dialog 4G)
In your brochure you had mentio...ned that your company uses technology that guarantees uninterrupted internet connection. However, this does not seem to be true. Anyways I have been facing poor connectivity problem from evening today. Sometimes it doesn't connect to the internet. At other times, the connection is ridiculously slow. So I called your Hotline (0117 100 100) had a experience of long hold time, 20mins+ eventually I spoke to an agent and he said it's not disconnected (Which I am aware of cause I'm using selfcare app). Then He asked me to hold the line for a minute and transferred to technical department, again long hold time but also no one answered. I called threes
For the 4th time one of your CC said facing a technical issue and they are upgrading the system and he wasn't sure about how long it takes to solve/upgrade.

My question is why couldn't you send a text message to your customers saying you are facing technical issue ? You could simply do this prior to the repair since you have your customers contact numbers. We need a stable internet connection to maintain our productivity. I would like you to escalate this to your management as soon as possible to resolve such issues. If you don’t, we cannot help but switch to another service provider.

Dear Dialog,
Being a loyal customer for over a decade, it is with regret I write this review about your services;
While I am thankful to be chosen for a broadba...nd connection with a free router, I am not so happy about the service that followed. Even though I was told that my package would be activated within the same day, it was still not activated when I called yesterday on your hotline, two weeks later. Then I was told that I would be given a confirmation call once it's activated by today, which again was a false assurance.
So I had to call back again today and wait online only to find out that the package is now activated but my details are not updated in the system. Which means, I can't update my Dialog Self-care App to check usage, billing period etc.
For that, I have to wait again till Monday and I was told that I will have to call again and check if it is updated and that no confirmation will be sent to me once it's done.
Please note that when I call from my Dialog mobile number on the 0117100100, it's not toll free, therefore for each of these follow up calls, I get charged, which is unacceptable from the most renowned service provider in Lanka. For the end user, you are "Dialog" to us, whether it's your mobile section, broadband section or whichever demarcation you maintain internally.
I only urge you to step up your service mechanisms and efficiency to minimize the inconvenience your customers face due to your internal delays and mishaps.
Not only it is inconvenient, but also very disheartening to see such inefficiency in a service provider I used to adore..

I Bought a 4G connection to my office I had a CRM now he is shifted to another area we don't have CRM we have 20+ Mobile connections, SIP Trunk, 2, 4G connectio...ns, and data packages.

Previously we had Big Data package for Entire office, Our office is 300 meters away from Dialog head office, but we had connectivity Issues it's terrible we made so many complains, but dialog team is unable to fix the same. Finally, we move to wired connection(Fiber optic) from SLT,

Now dialog is asking Rs 50,000/- + for the bad connection, if we don't pay this they are going to disconnect the rest of lines.

We made so many complains through phone, and by email, we can prove the same. This is for everyone knowledge.

This is the most horrible and the terrible service in the country. May b in the whole world. I'm using dialog television and it is one of the failed products of... Dialog. Bought the DTV facility from Horana outlet and once I went to them for making some inquiries regarding my connection. Surprisingly they told me that they are not in a position to give me the details as they cannot check DTV connections details and they ask me to go their outlet in Nugegoda to make those inquiries. And once my remort controller was broken and again I visited the same place and that time also I had to visit Nugegoda to buy that damn remort controller. Please don't let your kids to do major things like selling DTV connections if they cannot provide a better after sales service.
And once I was at hospital to consult a doctor and one of your service agents demanded me to return to home and have that appointment on another day saying that he has lot to do in one day in the same area.
I don't know from where dialog recruit this wonderful service team and I'm sure that they are doing a great job while tarnishing the image of poor Dialog Axiata.

If there is another word more below to poor surely I will give that mark to this shitting service provider!😁

I bought a dialog broadband connection yesterday from Nikaweratiya dialog branch. I'm using it at my quarters at Nikaweratiya town. but the modem indicates red ...since I brought it, when I inquired about it the customer care idiot told me that he can't do anything as it was registered to my home address, but I clearly stated where I'm going to use it at the time of purchase. I already have a slt broadband connection and I bought this hoping to have a better experience. now I'm totally disappointed. Can you look into my issue or refund my money back. The person to whom I called is Pradeepa and he was a terrible fellow, wasted 12minutes of my time and still he couldn't understand what my problem was. A person will have an adress in his identity card and that's not the place you are going to sit and use the broadband connection for your entire life, that idiot told me he can make a complaint only to send a team to the registered address and he couldn't understand that I'm using this at a different place and I want my problem to be solved at where I am. According to him I have to go back to the dialog branch, I wonder what nonsense would they tell if I go there. See More

This is regarding dialog piliyandala branch. I bought a 4g broadband connection from them.At that time Branch is fully crowded and there are few places to seat ...as well. Had to wait long time to get my connection. They didnt provide me the connection number , i think because they are system is down at that time.

When i contact dialog using their online chat requesting the connection number, they said their system does not have details related to my conmection and straight away said , go to the branch that the 4g connection was bought.

Today I went to piliyandala branch to get my connection number and experience the same thing. Still waiting in queue to get my work done. This is not the 1st time i had this kind of experince with this branch. Goverment offices arr better than this. You need to look into this branch customer service immediately and improve it.

Why do you have all these online and other customer services if we have to visit an outlet to get done a simple thing? I wanted to get fixed the issue of not in...creasing my bandwidth quota to 30GB where I only got 27.5GB all this time. If I have to go to an outlet to get something fixed cos of ur system errors please don't have any of these support services simply put visit us at our outlets if you have issues. Please! this is 2017 and people don't have time to go grocery shopping on telecommunication services.
And next Why you guys can not simply update all the packages to newest version rather than telling us to send our details? are we suppose fix ur system bugs? please take some action on this issue, it is a fraud. You are profiting out of many people who have no idea of this increment.

I’ve been with dialog for almost a decade now and I went to Dialog Rathmalana service centre yesterday as I wanted to change my post paid mobile number to a new... one. After waiting for a good half an hour I got my chance to speak to a CC agent and after all the formalities he gave me the new number (along with some documentation) saying that the number will be changed within 8 hours. As it didn’t happen almost after 24 hours I contacted Dialog customer care hotline and though the agent I spoke to was trying to help, she could not figure out what has happened. She asked me to either go back to the service point or else they can lodge a complaint from there, however she wasn’t sure when I would be given a feedback. Absolutely horrible service from Dialog TV crew. Been calling all day in order to get a team to come fix the connection cause the dish broke due to severe weath...er.. Dialog main sponsor for sri lanka � cricket.We pay dialog tv bills on time but stil these cheap buggers deactivate the channel when there is a cricket match and asking to pay 99 to watch it ( every single tournament for the past 3 years). Soon we will switch to dish tv that's better.

According to your system I have the time traveling ability.. What a joke. ...

I activated 2h time based mobile broadband package few times this morning, balance was reduced from the account but no browsing time was received. I waited as if it might take some time but nothing happened, then I called the customer support and they said it should activate within four hours. After some time I received few text messages saying that the activations were successful but when I checked the remaining time it was saying that I have only 2h 0m left as opposed to 10h 0m. Then I contacted the customer support for the second time and they said that there was a system update and I will either receive the browsing time or balance will be refunded.
Since I had some much needed work to do I started using the package but was cut off after 2 hours and again started to wait for something to happen. I contacted the customer support again and this time they said that I have exhausted my total browsing time and I have used 720mins (12 hours) of browsing time to be exact. I asked the issue to be escalated and the customer support person said that if there is any issue a supervisor will contact you within 15 mins but no one called. Since no one contacted me I think that there is no issue on your end.

I just wanna tell that you that 12 hours are yet to be passed since I activated the packages but your system indicates that I have used 12 hours of browsing time (I used the browsing time and came back in time and placed a complaint, didn’t I ?). Secondly, I haven’t activated 12h browsing time I activated only 10 h browsing time so your system seems to be needing a grade 4 maths class before doing any further calculations.
Your company has wasted my time and money for no reason and yet refuse to admit the fault, you have bloody stupid excuse for everything.

P.S This is not the only time I went through stupid messes of Dialog and currently waiting to be answered by customer support for the
4th time.

So irresponsible people u all are. I was calling to your broadband customer service hotline more than 3 times. But they didnt attentd my call for more than 10 m...inuets. For this 10 minuets they charged 2 rupees and simply they cut my call more than 3 times. I tried to call the main customer service number but they said they cant connect that call to broadband service.
Whats the meaning of this?
They cant connect the free line to broadband, if i call to 0117100100 this number they won’t answer and they will cut my call after waiting for 10 - 15 minuets

I was deactivating a monthly service plans it says the service will be de...activated soon but I was deducted the money and when I asked customer care he said I lost the quota too when I deactivate package. Worst service ever.. got a new sim replacing a lost one and they have not yet activated it even after 24 hours. Made several complaints in vain and got the same... answer that they are looking to it and will get it activated within four hours time. Very unprofessional service.
