Outbrain is looking for an experienced engineer/researcher to assist in the development of algorithms and software in the area of recommendation systems and machine learning.
Development from idea to working code of algorithms related to predictive modeling, collaborative filtering, clustering, personalization and general statistics thriving to recommend the most fitted content for millions of users over the world.
Research of very big data to gain understanding and insight regarding user interests and market behavior guiding the algorithmic path.
Development of highly-scalable, high performance, multithreaded, service-oriented software modules under top of the cutting edge technologies (Hadoop,Cassandra,...).
Responsibility for algorithmic and software modules.
Work in an extremely agile environment – fast development and deployment cycles enabling immediate feedback
Requirements:
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science / Statistics / Mathematics
- Experience in development of machine learning algorithms in the industry
- Experience in software development in the industry
- Experience in knowledge extraction from data
