Safari Books Online now offers standard and customizable RSS feeds for new titles and top titles. There are two ways to take advantage of this:

Standard RSS. To find out when new books, videos, Rough Cuts, and Short Cuts are added to the Safari Books Online digital library, simply point your RSS reader to https://my.safaribooksonline.com/rss.

Custom RSS. With the RSS generator below, create a feed of new or top titles based on various categories and publishers.

Mobile Optimized User Interface

With the Safari Books Online mobile-optimized website - m.safaribooksonline.com - you can search and browse all of the books in our digital library directly from the web browser on your favorite mobile device or eReader, including your Amazon Kindle or Apple iPad. Just visit m.safaribooksonline.com and sign in to your account. You can:

Search across all books in the catalog
Read the full text of all books in a mobile-friendly format
Manage and create Folders, Bookmarks, Notes and Tags
View and create Ratings and Reviews
Access your Favorites/Bookshelf
Access your My Downloads area

Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) and Smartphones

The mobile site supports all mobile devices that have a minimum resolution of 320x480 and are using the following operating system versions or browsers: Palm Pre (all models), iPhone (all models), all Android devices running AndroidOS 2.1+, all Blackberry devices running BlackberryOS 5.0+, Opera Mini browser 5.1 and Internet Explorer Mobile (Windows Mobile 6+).

eReaders

Browser Search Bar Integration: Firefox and IE8

With the Safari Books Online browser plug-in, you can now search the full Safari Books Online digital library directly from your Firefox and IE8 browsers! It's simple:

Make sure your Firefox or IE8 browser has a search toolbar activated (as shown in screenshot).
While viewing this Tools page in Firefox or IE8, click the down arrow in the top right hand corner of the browser (as shown in screenshot).
Add Safari Books Online search to your browser list. On Firefox, you will select "Add Safari Search." On IE8, you will select "Safari Books Online."
Now you can have the Safari Books Online search engine available directly from your browser.

Safari Search plug-ins work with Firefox v2 and higher and Internet Explorer 8.
