C++ Programming 1: Introduction to C++
C++ Programming for the Beginning or Intermediate Student
In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of programming and the basics of the C++ language. As the first course in the four-part C++ Programming Certificate Series, this course covers everything from the different variables types to getting input from a user, arrays, and functions.
Upon completion of the course, students will earn 4 CEUs (Continuing Education Units) and a CEU letter from the University of Illinois Office of Continuing Education.
From beginning to end, participants will learn by doing their own C++ programming-based projects. These projects, as well as the final project, will add to the student's portfolio. Besides a browser and internet connection, all software is provided online by the O'Reilly School of Technology.
Introduction to C++ covers topics including compiling, variables, math, input/output, conditional statements, loops, arrays, and more.
Base lab fee is a flat $9.95/month, no matter how many courses you are in. (Java Programming courses, Python Programming courses, C++ courses, and DBA 3 incur an additional $5.00/month lab fee due to the virtual Windows account used for Ellipse. This is per account, not per course, and it can be removed upon request when not working on these courses.)
