Dear Head First
When your book HTML With CSS & XHTML came out, I bought it and quickly learned to build a web site. I found a hosting company and bought a domain name, but couldn’t really do anything with my site. A year later I learned that I have to have a database to run my site, the hosting company gave me one free. I installed it, but still couldn’t do anything with my site. That was a couple of years ago, and I’m still paying for the site and doing nothing with it. Do you have a book that tells me what to do with my site and its database? Otherwise everything I’ve learned counted for nothing. Benjamin

I'm just finishing up “Head First HTML with CSS & XHTML” and have a “Head First Web Design” book ready to continue on with.
I've found a hosting company and have uploaded my rudimentary site to it. The hosting company provides a state of the art database for the site, and I'll soon need a third book to explain how to hook them together. Does anybody know if “Head First SQL” will teach me how to connect my site to the database, and what to do with it once I’m connected? Thank You Benjamin

In chapter 12, page 536, we are supposed to enter a five line <div id=“coupon”> into our Starbuzz’s index.html file.
It places a “fixed” ticket.gif on the screen. Clicking on the ticket is supposed to bring up a coupon for free coffee. It doesn’t do that. The href calls for “freecoffee.html” which doesn’t exist. I put in “coupon.gif” which does exist and it worked fine. However, the <div> also contained title=“Click here to get your free coffee”> that never appeared anywhere. My questions are, don’t titles only go in the <head>? Was calling for the <title> element also a misprint? Benjamin

I opened the Red Lantern style sheet and it is garbled and unreadable. I opened the style sheets in several other chapters and they are all the same. Is there a way to ungarble them without trying to second guess each line as to what goes where?
