I found in the errata that I need to pass form into the function for the code to work. My question is can someone explain why? Is the word form just a placeholder like it is in PHP or does it really mean form?
ie... placeOrder(form) Any help would be great, thanks

This might be a silly questions, iand i beleive that the answer is no but the book shows on page 268 that a regular html page uses <meta... charset=UTF-8">
on page 594 when talking about forms the doctype has <meta... charset=iso-8859-1">, it also is missing the information in the <html> element. I am guessing that it should be the same for both but i wanted to make sure first. Thanks

Hi all, it s a simple question. I'm not sure if i should use HTML 4.01 or XHTML doc Types to be future ready for HTML5 and so on...
Any suggestions? I was leaning towards XHTML, thanks. |
