Within the opening WindowedApplication tag, where you see xmllayout all running together, close the xmlns tag and add a space before layout, like so:
xmlns:mx="https://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" layout="horizontal"

But was the installation of AIR necessary or it is included into flex builder 3?If it isn't necessary i'm goingo to disinstall it.
