Mashups - TOC Resource
Mashups
A mashup is a Web site or digital file that aggregates material from one or more external sources and "mashes" it into a new service. Mashups are often facilitated by Application Programming Interfaces, which allow programmers to access third-party information. Google Maps is one of the most popular mashup sources.
