* Interactive and novelty printed books design
* sensing cameras for passive capture of images
* intelligent sensing lightbulbs for home security and care of dementia e.g. Alzheimer's
* wireless sensor systems using text messages alerts via GSM
* mobile phones with gravity controlled rotating screens, e.g. portrait/landscape mode - Lyndsay Williams was the first inventor of the patent for this technology.
* Consulting Expert for legal issues - based in Cupertino, USA
Girton Labs Ltd was founded by Lyndsay Williams in 2007. Wiliiams has a degree in BioMedical Electronics (1980 University of Salford, UK) and is an established Electronic Engineer specialising in microcontroller and analog design, hardware and software.
Williams had previously worked as a Researcher at Microsoft Research in Cambridge and in April 2007, Microsoft Research Cambridge discontinued work in hardware inventions, the last being her SenseCam and BioSenseCam, and so she left and then founded Girton Labs.
Girton Labs designs novel prototype computers based on 8 and 32 bit microcontrollers, for example ARM and PIC. All prototypes and pcb design are designed in house. Please contact us with your requirements, sensecam@gmail.com

I am co-author for a series of Books to be published 2009, called SenseBooks.
The first book is an educational book to be published with a globally successful established Cambridge author who has sold millions of books.
SenseBooks are printed hybrid paper computer books adding sensing abilities to printed paper. Patent filed.
Other Sensebooks also have medical applications with recalling memory.
