Another GREAT publication from Mr. Kahrel. This Short Cut paired with his other reference tool Scripting InDesign with JavaScript is a very powerful combination for anyone wanting to work more efficiently in Adobe InDesign.
This Short Cut is also written at a level that non-programmers can understand. I hope we will see more Short Cuts from Mr. Kahrel very soon.
Great job!

If you need to make automated changes to InDesign documents beyond what basic search and replace can handle, you need regular expressions, and a bit of scripting to make them work. This Short Cut explains both how to write regular expressions, so you can find and replace the right things, and how to use them in InDesign specifically.
