Alumni status has its advantages at the JavaOne conference. Bike to the JavaOne Conference - in front of the Moscone Center - South Hall
Sun is continuing the ?Bike to JavaOne? program it successfully launched in 2006 by expanding the program hours and biking options for Conference attendees. Bike to JavaOne promotes eco-responsibility outside the Conference walls, by encouraging employees, customers, and partners to bike to the event?whether that ride is a short jaunt from their hotel to the Conference or a longer public transportation/ bike combination trip from the Peninsula or the South Bay. This year Sun will again partner with the San Francisco Bike Coalition, a nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to promoting the use of bicycles for everyday transportation, to offer a free ?Bike Valet? service.

In addition to keeping bikes safe while Conference attendees enjoy the the JavaOne conference and the CommunityOne conference, San Francisco Bike Coalition staffers give riders free advice on how to keep their cycles in top shape, provide maps to help them explore the city by bike, and dispense tips on how ride the streets of San Francisco safely.

We will be sending out surveys to the 2008 JavaOne conference attendees a few weeks after the Conference concludes. We pay close attention to feedback from JavaOne conference attendees as it is extremely valuable in helping us develop next year's Conference. Once you complete your survey and you will be entered into a drawing to win one of two $500 cash prizes. Winners will be posted on the JavaOne conference website.

JavaOne Conference Show Device - Pulse Smartpen from Livescribe
The Pulse ?smartpen? from Livescribe is a computer within a pen that captures handwriting and simultaneously records and synchronizes audio to the writing. Users can simply tap on their notes to replay what was recorded from the exact moment they were writing, so they never miss a word. JavaOne Conference Show Device - Sentilla Perk Kit
Have you ever imagined programming Java technology-based applications that interact with the real world, in a matter of minutes?
