I bought this book to complete my shelf on Perl Series.(Learning Perl ,Intermediate Perl and Advanced Perl). I find the reading very interesting and these 3 books have become my bedtime books.
The topics covered and the flow are excellent to keep you going.
Few comments on the Advanced Perl: I might have given a title as " Applied Perl" . Reason is that the topics tell you how to do your regular programming techniques viz.,parsing templating ,Event Driven programs in perl.
I would have liked to include more topics on extending and embedding perl. There are very few books in the market dealing with extending and embedding topics.( Apart from tutorials on https://perldoc.perl.com I did not find any tutorial for the subject).
Nevertheless, this is a good buy after reading Learning Perl and Intermediate Perl.
