Sun believes that virtual worlds and other 3D Internet environments offer significant opportunities to our company, our customers and the world at large, especially as these tools evolve, grow in use and popularity, and become more integrated into many aspects of business and society. Many believe that 3D virtual worlds are the next evolution of the web, and offers a powerful new way to interact, collaborate, learn and participate with people across the world. There is an eco-responsibility component to virtual worlds, as they provide people the ability to work together from wherever they are, decreasing the need to travel to meet.

Sun has created an inworld presence for CommunityOne and JavaOne this year. If you can't attend the conference in person, attend inworld! We will be hosting events Monday thru Thursday on topics ranging from NetBeans to OpenSolaris to JavaFX. Come hear our technical experts speak and then participate in Q and A sessions.
