Administrative Clerk-Legal Services

Provide basic and clerical support for our legal services team:

• Maintain legal department?s hardcopy and electronic files, including the legal file database. This includes processing incoming contracts, agreements and associated paperwork; scanning and filing both hardcopy and electronic versions and updating the legal file database with key details (date, name, expiration date, etc).
• Prepare correspondence, shipping labels, expense reports, etc. Retrieve and sort incoming mail daily.
• Track the status of agreements awaiting signature.
Schedule meetings, calls and travel and assist with logistics.
• Process and code legal invoices for submission to A/P; track legal expenses on existing spreadsheets.
• Purchase domain names as requested by other departments and bill back costs to appropriate department; maintain master list of domains.
• Obtain information from other departments as requested by legal staff.

Minimum Requirements

• One-year background providing clerical/administrative support in a document intensive environment such as legal services, financial services, insurance or related industry.
• Knowledge of contract vocabulary and ability to identify and record key contract provisions.
• Solid computer skills including MS Word, Excel, email and conducting Internet searches. Familiarity with Access or similar database.
