This two-CD set contains the complete Red Hat Linux, version 2.1, the most reliable, easy-to-install, and easy-to-upgrade version of the Linux operating system around. Red Hat Software, Inc., supports the product with free access to an online support mailing list, and also offers telephone support for a fee.
In Running Linux you'll find complete configuration instructions (particularly for the X Window System), plus the system administration background you need to get Linux running. Running Linux Companion CD-ROM includes loads of useful free-software utilities, a full range of drivers, and Red Hat's own special installation procedures to help you boot the system, install the base software, and configure X.
