We serve those who have served our nation by providing high-quality long-term care, by connecting them and their families with important benefit information, and through the administration of two state veterans cemeteries.
Office of Veterans Services
The mission of the Office of Veterans Services is to support veterans living in the First State and their families with access to services and benefits that veterans have earned through their military service, including disability compensation, employment, housing, and more.
Delaware Commission of Veterans Affairs
The Delaware Commission of Veterans Affairs serves as an advisory board to the Governor for issues that impact the 72,000 military veterans living in the First State.
Delaware Veterans Home
The Delaware Vet Home, established in 2007, is a long-term care facility located on 24 acres in Milford, Delaware. The Home offers skilled nursing care on four units with a total of 150 beds. Their mission is to provide outstanding long-term care services to Delaware vets that uphold dignity and respect while sustaining and improving their quality of life. Our vision is to be a recognized state and national leader in long-term veteran care, and a driving force in providing the best in nursing care, family wholeness, and ultimate enrichment for our heroes. Being the best means serving our residents with selfless and uncompromising loyalty, respect, integrity, and commitment.
