----------------------------------------------------------------------- APNIC EC endorses "Global policy proposal for the allocation of IPv4 blocks to Regional Internet Registries" ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear colleagues The APNIC EC (Executive Council) endorsed the proposal prop-069, "Global policy proposal for the allocation of IPv4 blocks to Regional Internet Registries" at its meeting on 21 May 2009. Minutes from this meeting will be available after they have been adopted at the June 2009 EC meeting. Next steps ---------- APNIC is the first RIR community to adopt "Global policy proposal for the allocation of IPv4 blocks to Regional Internet Registries". The proposal must be adopted in all four remaining RIR regions before it can proceed to the final stages of the global policy development process.
