LGBTQ+ Equity Center
The LGBTQ+ Equity Center builds an inclusive, supportive, and vibrant campus community that centers belonging in teaching, research and service for people of all gender identities and expressions, sexes, and sexual orientations. The Equity Center serves University of Maryland students, staff, faculty, and alumni of all gender identities and sexual orientations. Over the years, our signature programs have become hallmark campus experiences for all students, faculty, and staff, including Quelcome, Lavender Celebration of Graduates, the Big Queer Photo, and our national award-winning Lavender Leadership Honor Society.
Fall 2025 Equity Center Recess Schedule
Join us for Recess in the Center (2411 Marie Mount Hall) every day, Monday-Friday, from 12 PM to 2 PM. Here, LGBTQ+ and allied students and peers can enjoy crafts, snacks, games, movies, and more! Every day will feature a different themed event. Check out the Rainbow Report or our social media for each week's schedule!
