RDF 1.2 N-Triples includes a VERSION directive to note that the content may be marked with version 1.2, 1.2-basic, or 1.1. This can also be done via a media type parameter. As N-Triples is otherwise only composed of triples, comments and blank lines, this feature may break expectations, is in contention with the practice of either concatenating together multiple files, or processing subsets of N-Triples independently. As such, the feature may be removed in a future update tho this specification.
