Fully redesigned UX for:

• making connections via 1-time invitations and contact addresses.
• joining groups.

How it worked before:

• you receive a long (~300-500 characters) invitation link that looked like malware to some users.
• you tap the link and then tap connect - you could only choose incognito or current profile, but could not switch profiles.
• you see "connecting" until your contact is online.

It was a broken UX for most people, so we fixed it!

How it works now:

• you receive a short (~70-100 characters), but as secure link (more secure for 1-time invitations).
• scan the link, see the profile or the group name (the profile picture will be shown in v6.4.1).
• tap "Open new chat" / "Open new group"
• in v6.4.1 you will see a group's or contact's welcome message before connecting.
• optionally, switch profile or choose incognito mode.
• for contact addresses, you can optionally add message to connection request.
• tap "Connect" / "Join"

For 1-time invitations you can send messages straight after connecting - no need to wait until the user who created a link is online.

When connecting via contact address it is recommended to include the message, as you will only be able to send more messages after your contact accepts your request.

When joining the group, for connection to complete, the admin that created a group link should be online, so it's recommended that links are created by always-online clients. This limitation will be removed this year.
