Check out the documentation on HexDocs. It also includes a
walkthrough that can be executed on LiveBook.
Installation
The package can be installed by adding tigerbeetlex to your list of dependencies in mix.exs:
defdepsdo[{:tigerbeetlex,"~> 0.16.51"}]end
Client versioning
TigerBeetle requires the client to have the same or lower version than the server.
TigerBeetlex uses the same version number as the underlying Zig TigerBeetle client to
simplify selecting the right version. This also implies that we need to wait for a new
TigerBeetle release to cut a new release, but this shouldn't be a problem since TigerBeetle
has a fixed weekly release schedule.
If/when TigerBeetle switches to a slower release cadence, we might evaluate using different
version numbers.
