Lupapiste on sähköinen palvelu, jossa rakentamisen lupiin liittyvät hakemukset ja aineistot välittyvät kunnan järjestelmiin sähköisessä muodossa. Lupapiste palvelee ensikontaktista tai neuvontapyynnöstä alkaen koko hankkeen ajan aina valmistumiseen saakka. Ympäristöministeriön tilaamaa palvelua kehittää ja operoi rakennetun ympäristön lupa-asiointiin keskittyvä pilvipalveluyhtiö Cloudpermit.

Lupapisteeseen voi liittää myös sähköisen pysyväisarkiston asiakirjojen lain vaatimaa säilyttämistä varten.

Lupapiste (Permit point) is a SaaS cloud application that allows citizens and corporations to apply for permits related to constructed environments, enabling authorities to receive the applications and supporting documents electronically to their backing systems. Lupapiste is used for guiding the application process from the first information request all the way to the end of a construction project. The service was originally ordered by the Finnish Ministry of the Environment and is continually developed and operated by the cloud service company Cloudpermit.

Lupapiste can also be connected to an electronic archive for the permanent archival of documents as required by law.
