I'm thinking this makes more sense as two separate posts:

1. Introduction to the Abilities API, how it works, and how both PHP and JavaScript developers can use it to build things.
2. The MCP Adapter, which allows for adapting Abilities into MCP tools and resources.

These could be created as a 2-parter, but putting it all into one blog post will make for a long post.

My 2 cents are that we should split the communication between the Abilities API and the MCP. MCP is the most prominent use case for the Abilities API, but there are so many more ways abilities can be consumed, so we should build that awareness from the start.

I like the proposed breakdown because part 2, explaining the MCP Adapter, would be a good follow-up showing one of the ways abilities can be consumed. In the future, you could also have another post explaining how to build an agent that uses the same abilities to show a different perspective.

Another idea I had was how to utilize the PHP AI client and add functionality via Abilities.

The general consensus from the core-ai team is also to split this into two posts.
