Is anyone well versed on this?

1. Do we need a license?
   • I think yes to explicitly indicate “we’re open source” versus the default terms and assumptions provided by GitHub.
2. If yes, what should the license be?
   • GPLv2 or later seems like a good answer at first glance, but maybe something along the lines of MIT is a better fit. I don't want to restrict anything.
3. Does anything provided in the default VVV package conflict?
   • There was a time when we included a few things as a whole in the package, but now they are all pulled in via script.
