Description
After trying to delete a database via dropdb <databasename> i received the following error message. This used to work without problems.
I use Version 2.7 (243) on macOS Ventura 13.5.2.
dropdb: error: connection to server on socket "/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432" failed: FATAL: Postgres.app failed to verify "trust" authentication
DETAIL: An error occurred while running the helper application
HINT: Please check the server log and submit an issue to https://github.com/PostgresApp/PostgresApp/issues
The same happens with other PostgreSQL command line tools.
