This page will provide an overview of what the CarbonQueryDatabase_Toolkit does and how to use it.

The Carbon Query Database (https://api-ui.cqd.io/) is the database used by the EC3 tool (https://www.buildingtransparency.org/en/). The Carbon Query Database contains a collection of Environmental Product Declarations with all of their corresponding data (manufacturer, global warming potential, verifier, etc). The image below shows the amount of EPD's that this provides access to as of April 30th, 2020.

This toolkit allows for direct interaction with he CarbonQueryDatabase Environmental Product Declarations and their data within the BHoM framework. These Environmental Product Declarations can then be used with the https://github.com/BHoM/LifeCycleAssessment_Toolkit to calculate values such as the Global Warming Potential of a specific BHoM object (ie a Beam) or a collection of BHoM objects (ie a building).
