Where to find Opera’s Privacy and Security team online

Hello everyone!
Through this blog, we strive to offer timely updates and important information about Opera and our products. This helps us maintain an open line of communication with our users, particularly when it comes to important topics like privacy and security. You might already have seen a few of our recent posts, but we also realize not everyone pays attention to a company blog all the time.
As we try to respond to users on multiple platforms, we thought we’d list the official accounts we are using – so if you see a comment from the following accounts, you’ll know it’s really us! Here goes:
- Twitter/X: Opera_Security
- Reddit: opera_security
- TikTok: opera_security
- YouTube: Opera_Security
- BlueSky: Opera-Security
- Instagram/Threads: opera.security
Reporting and keeping track of security issues
If you’d like to report a security issue, you can do so through our public and private Bug Bounty programs. Out-of-scope security issues can be submitted directly to us and are subject to our Vulnerability Policy.
To report malicious or suspicious activity related to Opera products and services, please use the Report Fraud page.
We also issue a bi-annual transparency report, outlining how we handle data requests from law enforcement authorities. You can check it out here.

You can also send an encrypted email to us using this GPG Key.
As always, stay safe out there!
