My name is Jessica, and this blog is a pathfinder for beginning butterfly watchers and gardeners in the Northeast United States. A pathfinder is a collection of resources, usually made by a librarian for a specific topic and audience. I am not a librarian yet, but I am a Library and Information Science student at the University of Rhode Island. I created this pathfinder to complete my final project for LSC 504: Introduction to Reference Services. Each page in this pathfinder leads to a list of resources. For example, the dictionaries page lists dictionaries about butterflies that are on the shelves in URI’s Kingston Library reference section.
