Comment on Personal Reflections on a 9/11 Hero by David J Kroll

Mon, 12 Sep 2016 11:26:29 +0000https://abelpharmboy.wordpress.com/?p=1574#comment-10854Denise, you are lovely with words and fully capture what made John and being part of the Griffin family so special to you. Plus, you taught me some new things: I hadn’t known you were named after Dennis Griffin Sr. A lot of folks who went to larger high schools can’t quite appreciate how intimate our class of 72 was – for better or for worse, and whether we were friends or adversaries then, we are inextricably linked (And who’d have ever thought that beautiful cheerleader would become such as tenacious fisherwoman!). You capture every single response this post has received all over the web: John made people laugh and feel special. And, yes, those young women, Jenna and Julie – simply amazing. Even the tragic loss of baby Jonathan left a legacy of the Hope with Heart camp for kids with heart problems. Always giving, always looking out for others. I’m so sorry for your loss but so happy that these old memories stay with you so clearly.

I’m terribly sorry for the loss of John for June and his girls, my heart bleeds for you. Mere words can not express the sadness of a loss of a child or brother my heart bleeds for you. I will always cherish catching frogs and lighting bugs on upper greenwood lake with John and watching the chip monks and fishing off the nicest dock on the lake. I’m thankful for being named after a great man Dennis Griffin Sr who always lit up my world as a little girl I still remember. I’m thankful that I got to cheerlead Johns name during our senior year “go John ” and went on to win the state championship a class with a total of 72 graduating classmates (young ladies and young men total) what an accomplishment going up against such large schools we rocked‼️ I’m thankful for Johns humor and always making us laugh in a good way. Forever in my heart and never forgotten. Rest easy John and I strongly believe your greatest accomplishment was the legacy you left behind in your children that without a doubt will make a huge difference in the world for the better being a Griffin 💗

Hi Catherine – I’m so sorry that I missed your comment almost a year ago! I think that you’ve learned that they will grow on plastic and that they can still be re-accustomed to spinner flasks. I hope that things worked out – and I’m so sorry for missing your questions.

Sun, 12 Apr 2015 08:12:25 +0000https://abelpharmboy.wordpress.com/?p=1559#comment-10550Abel… I saw your post about Hela S3 cells on Terra Sİgillata. I have a sort of urgent question regarding their culture! Our lab purchased these cells from Riken. They had been stored in our liquid nitrogen cell bank for a while and someone recently opened the stock… they actually had meant to open the “normal” Hela stock. Taking care of these cells fell to me. Normally, the S3 cells are supposed to be cultured in spinner flasks. We don’t have that equipment. I actually have two questions. 1. If we allow these cells to settle to the plate and attach and grow them up and stock them in this fashion, will they cells grow well and will they maintain their ability to be grown in suspension at a later date? 2. I thought maybe we could culture them on a orbital shaker. We bought one and are trying it out… not sure if it is going to work out. Any ideas you may have would be much appreciated!!!

But most of my friends stopped smoking weed because it was simply just hard to get for about half a year. Many turkish people packed it up by themselves and sold it… So somehow for about a year even when the weed was back in the City again there where like only 10 people who wanted some… Spice is fu*kin your head up More than weed, a friend of mine who smoked about 6 Grams a day jumped from a bridge and arrived 30 meters above on the stone ground.. I smoked a normal joint wih him a couple of days before and he told me the reason he was smokin so much is because weed is not getting him high anymore and from 3 bowls of spice he still picked us up in his car… This stuff is fuc##in u up so badly, im so happy i stayed only with Mary …

antipsychotics on top f this sound like a horrible idea ,i wonder if there is a treatment for this that could be used ,like a blocker, or canabanoid antagonist, much like narcan naloxone, naltrexone is used to reverse the effects of opiates , i have been researching for canabanoid antagonists and there are some that do exist ,not sure if they are approved for anything yet, but they are at least being researched at least , for suppressing appetite and diet aids i think

well i can tell you that i have much experience with all sorts of drugs but have not used psychedelics or club drugs for years developed a high sensitivity to almost everything after an opiate addiction that i beat ,have only used medicinal quality pot in extremely small amounts for the past year ,but i got some “commercial” weed which i dont usually do, it was just some chaffe from the bottom of the bag to get through ina pinch , i smoked it for about 10 days with no problem, then one night i took a couple extra hit and went into the worst experience of my life , rapid heart beat ,thought was going to die and have a stroke and a heart attack this intense feeling lasted for THREE DAYS! ,it is now day 6 and i still feel the effects of whatever this was i suspect it was a form of syntheic cannabinoid ,the last week has been HELL ,worse than opiate withdrawal(ok mayb not i have been able to sleep most of it off)headaches and feeling of cloudyness or light headedness and pressure in my head that will not go away intense lucid dreams ,nausea clamy palms at times, sometimes rapid heart rate that comes in waves ,i feel like shit ,like i want to die ,im terrified this is not going to go away ,though the symptoms seem to be gradually fading they have not gone away ,a visit to the ER was a complete waste of time, ekg was normal they didnt do a CT scan or a tox screen even ,they said there are no panels for synthetic cannabanoids ,which i suspect caused this
does anyone know where i can go to get a full tox work up ? and get a hair test , GCMS to see WTF i ingested to cause this?
i am in boston so there must be someone i could see , this is the WORST I HAVE EVER FELT IN MY ENTIRE LIFE

In 1997 I suggested that the building be named after Trudy Elion and George Hitchings – Nobel Prize winners who worked at the site….
