LiteSpeed Web Server (LSWS) is a program, often used as a plugin. It significantly enhances website performance by utilizing caching. This means that frequently requested content is stored for faster loading. As a result, visitors experience improved load times and a smooth user experience.

Is LiteSpeed Web Server Cost effective?
There is a license fee associated with switching from Apache to LiteSpeed Web Server, although this is often much less expensive than the cost of the hardware upgrade required to achieve the same performance gains with Apache.
How does LiteSpeed Web Server compare to Apache and nginx?
The event-driven architecture of nginx and compatibility with Apache's .htaccess were built into the core of the LiteSpeed Web Server from the bottom up.
Better performance is achieved by LiteSpeed Web Server's event-driven architecture, which uses less resources than Apache's process-based architecture. With minimal CPU and memory usage, LSWS may simultaneously serve thousands of customers. The LiteSpeed Web Server has no issues handling sudden traffic increases. Additionally, LiteSpeed Web Server is compatible with control panels made for Apache because it can read Apache configuration files directly (unlike nginx).

What about the optimisation features of LSCache?
LSCWP includes Database Optimization, Minification and Combination of CSS and JS files, CDN Support, Browser Cache, Object Cache, Lazy Load for Images, Image Optimization, and more! These features don't need LiteSpeed.
What server software is required for LiteSpeed?
This plugin can only be utilized with a LiteSpeed server. You will require one of the following (any single server or cluster containing one of the following will suffice):
- LiteSpeed Web Server Enterprise with LSCache Module (v5.0.10+)
- LiteSpeed WebADC (v2.0+)
- OpenLiteSpeed (v1.4.17+)
- QUIC.cloud CDN
With which control panels does LiteSpeed Web Server work?
Any control panel that supports Apache, such as Plesk, cPanel and Direct Admin, can be used with LiteSpeed Web Server.

Does LiteSpeed Hosting work in a clustered environment?
Yes. The plugin stores cache items at the highest LiteSpeed server level when clustered. LiteSpeed's Web ADC can store cache. If you use a third-party load balancer, cache entries will only be kept at the backend LiteSpeed nodes, and cache purges will not be synchronized.
If you want to use LiteSpeed Cache and sync cache entries between nodes, a third-party load balancing solution is not recommended.
Are my images optimized with LiteSpeed Home?
Images will not be automatically optimized unless the LiteSpeed Cache > Image Optimization > Image Optimization Settings > Auto Request Cron option is toggled to the ON position. You also have the option of manually optimizing your photographs.
