    Hello,

    • On media grid view (root folder or sub-folder)
    • Dropping files or click on upload button
    • Selecting images

The screen flashes when a new image is successfully uploaded, instead of the square with loading status : https://photos.app.goo.gl/abrZ333EpiVmnRnf7.

Could you restore this pending upload status ?

When uploading a lot a images, you cannot know how much images you still have to upload.

    Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out and reporting this.

We’ll review the behavior regarding uploads in subfolders and check if we can reproduce the issue on our end. In the meantime, could you please share a bit more detail about your setup — such as the plugin version you’re using, any relevant configuration, and whether browser console errors appear during the upload?

This will help us investigate and provide more accurate assistance.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

I’ve tested it with the latest plugin version and latest WordPress version.

No Javascript error appears into the console, just the list of medias refreshing when new media is added.

    Hi Nicolas,

I’m really sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to replicate this.

Is this happening just in some specific browser/device?

    Thank you!

    Hello,

Here a video with wordpress playground clean install : https://photos.app.goo.gl/Mp9LxQ3L6i2dtyAs9

First part is with plugin, second without.

Notice how the medias are flashing and not having a progress bar and in the second part you can see them appear.

    Nicolas,

    Hi @rahe,

I have tried to replicate your issue. On my side works fine.

Make sure you have the latest version of wordpress and latest version of the plugin.

    Another steps to consider:

    JavaScript Conflicts:

    • Test with a default WordPress theme (Twenty Twenty-Four) to isolate theme-related issues.

    Browser-Specific Issues:

    • Try it on a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) or test in incognito/private mode.
    • Check browser console for JavaScript errors during upload.
    • Clear browser cache and cookies.
    • Also clear any server-side caches (a caching plugin like WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache).

WordPress Core File Issues: The media uploader relies on core WordPress files that might be corrupted.

    • Re-upload WordPress core files (excluding wp-config.php and wp-content).

    Hello,

I’ve tested in the WordPress Playground https://playground.wordpress.net/ so it’s local, latest version of WP, default theme and isolated from any disturbances.

    What I’ve done :

    • On incognito mode on Chrome
    • Go to https://playground.wordpress.net;
    • Not changing any settings (so i’ts WP 6.8, PHP 8.3, Plugin version 1.6.5)
    • Install and activate plugin
    • Create a sub folder
    • Clicked on subfolder created
    • Added a media from grid view

    There is

    • No error in Javascript console
    • No error on PHP logs
