The following steps are applied for real device and simulator as well.
- Go to Settings app
- Tap wi-fi menu
- Select the same network as computer running mockingbird
- On HTTP PROXY tap ‘Configure Proxy’
- Select 'Manual'
- Set the Server Ip (computer Ip) and Port:
8080. Save! - Done!
After configure your device, open Mockingbird. Then:
- On top-right side, start the server by clicking on 'Server' and 'Proxy'
- On device or simulator, open the browser and go to:
mitm.it - Tap the target platform to install certificate
- After installation, go to device's Settings app
- Tap on
GENERAL > PROFILE, select mitmproxy profile and finish installation - Tap On
GENERAL > ABOUT > CERTIFICATE, go to Trust Settings and activate mitmproxy - Done!
The following steps are applied for real device and simulator as well.
- Go to Settings app
- Tap on Connections
- Tap wi-fi menu
- Select the same network as computer running mockingbird
- Open the connection’s config screen
- Select 'Advanced'
- Select 'Manual' on Proxy item
- Set the Server Ip (computer Ip) and Port:
8080. Save! - Done!
After configure your device, open Mockingbird. Then:
- On top-right side, start the server by clicking on 'Server' and 'Proxy'
- On device or simulator, open the browser and go to:
mitm.it - Tap the target platform to install certificate
- Set a certificate name and tap OK
- Done!
