Hey there — I'm Simen, aka Eventyret (yes, like a fairytale). I work as a Senior Software Engineer at Sema4.ai, where I help build tools that make developers more powerful without adding more tabs to their browser (well, maybe just one more).

I'm a T-shaped generalist with deep roots in React, TypeScript, Docker, and frontend-focused DX — but really, I'm happy anywhere there's a terminal, a problem to solve, or a dad joke to tell. Frameworks are tools, not religions. Code is collaboration. And if it helps someone ship with more joy and less stress? Count me in.

Outside of work, I'm the creator of Almost Done — a cozy, chaotic newsletter for neurodivergent devs who thrive in bursts, forget what they were doing, and still get things (almost) done. It’s for the ADHD-coded, AuDHD-aligned, tab-hoarding, perfection-avoiding builders of the web. We celebrate creative chaos and build systems that support real humans.
